The Royal Arm Candy!

As the world went  ga ga over the royal wedding & the bride's dress,I was a lil disappointed not to see a clutch anywhere:(
The bag designer in me would have preferred to see a clutch in her hand rather than the bridal bouquet!

LOL................but I did want to see her style in carrying Arm Candy & I was sure she will come tops as rest of her wardrobe !
So I researched & found these & am duly impressed!

Thank God for NO garish chains & hardware on the purse!...............I find them really yucky despite the designer tags  & the hefty $ tag on them!
Aw..........just look at the clutch..............yeah,I am a clutch gal!

Ooh..............I love this!

Love love love this bag!

The future queen has her sense of fashion just right!

hmm.................I am not a fan of the hat but the clutch gets my vote!

I see her carrying gorgeous Arm Candy everywhere.............................do you like her style too?

Depressing Shopping!

Guess what did I buy today?
My first ever Anti Aging Cream:(
I have turned 31 & I think its better to start now than be a poster for "this is what happens to you when you don't take care of yourself in time" 20 years from now!
I am feeling so baah........

To make myself feel better & not so old ,I bought this wow smoky blue eye pencil which just brings the brown in my eyes out!

And I needed make up brushes for ages!
So I bought a set of different brushes .........................did you shop too when you crossed over to the wrong side of ................er.........30:(

Scary evening!

Had a bad bad scary evening yesterday!
I am down with respiratory tract infection & have been feeling crappy past 2 days!
In the evening my kids went to the park to play with the person who SUPPOSEDLY looks after them!


My son went off with his friends to play cricket & my daughter was playing with her friend Priya & suddenly they get the bright idea of going for a walk!

So my 3.5 yr old along with her 5 yr old friend WENT FOR A WALK....................ALONE!

Without informing anyone!

After half an hour the so called caretaker realized she was missing from the park!
& boy did it put all of us in a tailspin!

She is actually very careful & cautious ,I am surprised she pulled this stunt!

I took out my car & went on a search,my hubby came home immediately from office & he went on a search,the caretaker alongwith our dog,my son with his gang of boys on bicycles...................the other childs parents...............it was like a massive manhunt!

It was probably the most stressful hour of my life!
It was getting dark & even though I stay in a military cantt. which is very safe but the thought of 2 small children lost in dark was terrifying!
After ONE WHOLE hour of searching, the other set of parents found them in some alley safe,sound & scared to death howling for their moms!

Needless to say they were lost & I am surprised their teeny tiny legs carried them so far!
I am just so glad she came home safely.....................and believe me she was so scared to come to me knowing I will be angry,she just clung to her dad refusing to let go!

This really shook me & reinforced the fact that how thankful I am to God for my lovely family!

Family time!

How was your Good Friday..................mine was really good!
We had won a lunch coupon at a nicee hotel at a party few days back!
Kids & hubs had a holiday on account of Good Friday & we decided to avail the lunch coupon.................what is better than a holiday?..................a holiday when you don't have to cook & don't have to pay for food either;)

Well...............after lots of posing & preening we set off for the restaurant finally!
We are usually the dinner types,but since the coupon was for lunch we headed out in the day time & it was so much fun!

And after the lovely lunch...................we headed out for some shopping............scooped some of the pottery pieces for my lawns

bought some toys for the kids...................odds & ends & went home for a well deserved rest..........ONLY for the family,not for me!
I had a custom order to finish ,a batik printed shoulder bag with a matching wallet..................love the way it turned out!
have another order to make this in black,so off to cutting board!

Mid Week Break!

hey............I have been MIA past few days!
was super busy with tons of custom orders,personal commitments & sadly that meant my blog took a backseat!

I was feeling overwhelmed by so many things simultaneously & felling burnt out with non stop sewing!
So .................when my kids & hubby got a day off in the middle of the week thanx to a local holiday ,I jumped on the opportunity & decided to go for a coffee break in the evening.

You know those fashion blogs that have the posts where the blogger tells about their costume & makeup  etc etc..............I have been itching to do that too,only I am not so glamorous,but that will not stop me from doing that......................so here I go;)

Hair: Sleek sexy look courtesy-unwashed dirty greasy hair...........thanx to too much sewing
Makeup: B & W photo courtesy - the ugly pimple that erupted on my chin
Accessories: 10 year old junk jewelery

Clothing: Tent like shapeless top courtesy -40 pounds post C-section fat 
Arm Candy-Loving hubby courtesy-my parents who arranged my marriage;)

Well...............my hubby or kids had no interest in my looks ,they were too busy with the ducks...............you can't see them in the pic,but they are there........

I am refreshed after the break & ready to tackle my new custom orders I got this morning.................so now I am going to buy pink batik for a purse,so excited to make a new style of purse,will be back with updates:)
