I was married at 20 & at 30 I am pleasantly shocked to realize what a fine man I married!.....................

I was just 20 & committing myself to a person I barely knew..................we had a traditional Indian Arranged Marriage.......................... had  met a few times & didn't really know each other.....................that is the beauty of Indian marriages,not knowing each other meant our marriage was like opening a well wrapped gift..............you do not know what would be inside & the journey of unraveling the layers,getting to know each other,discovering each others quirks,likes,dislikes AFTER being married is a  different experience altogether!

I would not say it was alwayz good going..................we had our fair share of storms,disagreements,tiffs.... at times more than tiffs,but our perseverance,faith & tenacity kept us together through all rough times & it is magical to fall in love with the person you already are married to!

August 2001-a year into our marriage

 Our arranged marriages coincided with liking for each other and blossomed into love afterward..................it may sound neanderthal to many,but it worked for us!

In this journey of 11 years we have had 2 flowers blossoming in our paradise & they have enriched ,supplemented & cemented our love for each other!

 I just hope we continue like this & our love multiplies with each passing year.
