Holiday Time pass!!

It's my brats last exam today.............so that means......THEY WILL BE HOME FROM TOMORROW MORNING.................NO............TODAY AFTERNOON!
Oh boy..........I am feverishly trying to find activities to keep them busy, keep them away from TV & fighting with each other....................wishful thinking!
I don't want any mess,so no crafts involving glue...................my daughter glued her fingers together,paint.........they painted my st. bernie to look like a black lab................no dough..................I don't even want to begin on what they did with dough!
Not even scissors..............my son chopped off his EYEBROWS & his sisters pony tails!!!!!
So now do you know WHY I am sooooo apprehensive about their holidays starting!
Well.......the safest seems to be Origami to me........just keep folding away...........so here are a few I shortlisted & am off to print out & keep for them before they come back home!

My daughter will love these, though I doubt she can make it but hopefully me son will help her make this!
Find the tutorial here
How cute are these!................very handy for all the small bits & pieces in the puzzles & blocks !
The tutorial is over here

And this!
This has a neat lil tutorial step wise which I am sure kids can easily follow!
My son loves cranes!................& here is a cute tut which he can follow with my help!

And lookie what I found for myself :)
I am so trying out this flower..............looks complicated but I definitely want to try this!
This tut will make a nice lil bouquet right!

And if I can not pull it off, here is another flower tut to
to make origami roses!

What to you do to keep your brats busy ?

Anthro Duvets!

Who does not foam at the mouth seeing these duvets??
I do.....................BIIIIIG time  & I also foam at the mouth thinking of their prices & how much they will cost to get shipped to India!?!?!
So what does the thrifter (cheapo ) in me do?...............look around for free tutorials coz I know there are many more like me;)
See what I found!..................am absolute gem!................I could not have made out which one is original if it was not written !
The tutorial comes in 2 parts here is the link to the first & when you are done with the first ,here is the second part:)

This gorgeous Cirrus Duvet is something I want as a gift for my parents, only I can't afford 199$ plus shipping

tied up in knots!

Don't get ideas!!..................I just mean the knots we tie while gift wrapping............what were you thinking;)
Gift wrapping is an art & something sellers need to perfect along with their craft!
A well wrapped purchase is like a gift except you paid for it yourself;)............but seriously, don't you think when you get something which is really well wrapped, piques up your interest in what is inside!
& I loooooooove wrapping my bags nicely before I send them out................This is what I usually do but off late I have thinking of newer & creative wayz to pack my bags before I ship them .it's not just for the sales but also for the gifts we give out to friends & family,so here are some of the nice & simple (I don't want to get confused while packing!) gift wrapping ideas I came across!

This classic double bow is simple, elegant & very classy.Learn it here.

This has fun gift wrapping ideas, tips & gift tag templates too!

I have tons of left over yarn form all the knitting I do for my kids,so making these pom poms is first on my wrapping list!

This is like WOW!!!.................I won't use this for my purses,as it will get squished beyond recognition in international travel, but I am surely gonna use it for Diwali gifts!.............here is how you can too!

More fun ideas with newspaper here!

How cool is this!!..............see the instructions here
