More shirring

I keep making dresses my 3 yr old daughter Sashreeka..................Sasha for everybody:)
I learnt shirring while making her this sundress

I loved this fabric when i saw it in the market.Very summery ,bright & polka dots are always in vogue:)
My first attempt at shirring was a disaster,i will not dare to put up the pics of how I botched it the first time:)
Fortunately I had enough of fabric left over to try once more...............second time it turned out pretty well.........I  hand wound the bobbin with the elastic thread & loosened the bobbin screw just a tad so that the elastic  wouldn't keep breaking as it did the first time.Voila!!!!!!!!
I must admit I was pretty pleased with myself:)

Keeping in with the theme of polka dots I added polka dotted ribbons as tie ups..................& here's my princess in her new dress made by her talented momma;)
